The Sofitel Petra Taybet Zaman Resort is distinguished by its bedouin-style rooms. The guest rooms are each uniquely appointed, with private bathrooms, air conditioning and heat, and are tastefully furnished to compliment the village style and setting. All rooms feature satellite TV, direct dial telephones, a mini-bar, hairdryers, and room safes. 

Taybet Zaman has two on-site restaurants: Sahtain Snack Bar, a cozy place where you can enjoy a drink before dinner, or after a day exploring Petra; Sahtain Restaurant is a typically local restaurant representing the regional rural life of the past.

It has Al Sahtain restaurant, which is the main restaurant, Al Sahtain bar located in the main dining area, Al Diwan Bar that is adjacent to the reception, Elbeer disco bar of the village, and a pool bar. They also have a swimming pool, a health & fitness centre, a Turkish Bath, Arti Zaman souk and shops, laundry service, theatre (100 guests), photographic shop, car parking, spice shop, traditional bakery, medical care & heliport. They also have a cafe terrace, and Al Saraya ballroom. 

Meeting Facilities:

They have Al Saraya ballroom that can fit up to 300 pax theatre style. Upon request; secretarial services are available.

The Resort has 105 guestrooms to include 101 guest houses (3 for handicapped guests), 3 junior suites, & 1 royal suite. All the guesthouses are offering a 21 double bed (King-size) or 67 twin beds (used as single or double rooms), 17 single rooms (single beds), connecting rooms are available, all with private bathrooms (bath tubs with shower facility), air-conditioning and heating, satellite TV with remote control, direct-dial telephone, mini--bar and hairdryers, and 24-hours room service with guests' safety deposit boxes.
