Hotel Description: InterContinental Aqaba is situated on its own private beach on the shores of the Red Sea (at the Gulf of Aqaba) and approximately 15 miles from King Hussain International Airport. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from downtown Aqaba. This location is also two miles from duty-free shopping, three miles from water sports (diving, snorkeling, Para-sailing, etc), 35 miles from Wadi Rum, 75 miles from Petra (the Rose City), and 115 miles from the Dead Sea.  Hotel amenities include the private, 300-meter beach, 220-meter pool, whirlpool, sauna, exercise room, gift shop, business center, and Martini Bar with live music on a daily basis. Aqaba Burj Al Hamam Restaurant has Lebanese cuisine, Cote d'or is a fine-dining restaurant, and Corniche Restaurant has casual all-day dinning.
